Last month, a representative from Excell Solutions visited the Lowell Career Academy to help educate teens about potential career pathways. Many students showed an interest in manufacturing, as well as other in-demand trades, and were enthusiastic to ask about a career that they have had little exposure to. Excell will return to LHS at the end of April to give a talk in front of the school to emphasize an industry need and opportunities for young individuals to get involved in a machining career.
These visits are a continuation of Excell’s community outreach efforts to the surrounding schools. We help by advising programs and educating students on career options and to consider machining, as well as the trades, as a secure and rewarding career in a high demand field.
